Beautiful area

We were very impressed with this property, well kept, kitchen and bathrooms well stocked, even toys for young children and a swing on the property. Loved the area we were in with water visible on both side and a great beach down the road

Beautiful, secluded, comfy

We walked in and were impressed right away. Everything we needed had been thought of ahead of time by Katie. The main living area was so cozy and inviting. Beds were comfortable. We were very impressed with the decor. Old world PEI rustic charm! Made for a memorable vacation.

Family Reunion

We all had the best time ever! With 2 teenagers and female adults I was a little concerned about the bathrooms being in use constantly but not to worry, with 2 bathrooms no problem! The cottage is decorated beautifully, there is every cooking utensil you could ever need. Everything was great including the weather!

Kudos for the Sea Drift in Darnley

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay at the Sea Drift in Darnley. Our host, Katie, quickly responded to any questions I had both before and during our stay. The accommodations were sparkling clean and sported a great selection of all the kitchen, paper and cleaning supplies we needed. Upon first walking into Sea Drift I was immediately taken with both the front and back water views from the many windows in the Great Room. We especially liked being so close to Thunder Cove Beach, as it’s one of our favorite beaches on the island. There were good opportunities to walk and bike in the area, and we weren’t far from Kensington, Summerside or Cavendish. Although the weather wasn’t always real cooperative we found lots of activities to do. The cottage’s amenities included a screened gazebo, a deck, a fire pit and even a swing, which we were able to make some use of despite the frequent showers. There were board and card games and jigsaw puzzles available, plus a good size TV. Watching a particularly spectacular late evening thunderstorm from the great room was a high point for me! We found the two bathrooms well equipped and the included washer dryer very handy. And last but not least, the three bedrooms had comfy beds, plenty of pillows and blankets available and drawers, hooks and/or closets for our belongings. All in all, we had a great week, active but also very relaxing. Thank you, Katie, for the opportunity to rent such a lovely cottage!

Great stay

We loved our stay at the sea drift. Katie was very easy to get in touch with, the home is lovely, the area is quiet and has a great ice cream/food stop nearby as well as a convenience store .My kids are always asking when we can go back. Great stay!

Darnley Stay

It was a graduation trip to PEI with four adults. The property was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. A very short walk to a beautiful beach!

We were sorry to leave!

The cottage was clean, nicely furnished and contained good quality amenities. We appreciated the prompt response to our needs and the extras - a high chair and toys, games, etc. Katie was a pleasure to work with, and our stay at this lovely, homey cottage was comfortable and enjoyable.

PEI Vacation

Location was great - very close to beaches and activities. Cottage was located close to a number of other cottages which was not evident in the photos but it was quiet. Our host was very quick to respond to our messages, we had a great time! Thank you!

Very nice cottage

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was very clean with lots of room in the open concept layout. There is a large deck and screened gazebo with a nice view of the water. We all agreed that we would definitely recommend to anyone looking to rent a cottage on PEI.

Pei friends weekend

We had a wonderful stay. This cottage has everything you need. One of everything in the kitchen, lots of bedding & towels. The pictures don’t do this place justice! We had such a great time and will be back again! Katie was super helpful and made everything easy.
