“My daughter snd I stayed for two nights at this delightful property. The ferry is close by, and it was very easy to find once we’d crossed over from Dartmouth. It was very, very quiet, which we loved and we heard beautiful birdsong in the mornings. Place is cute and cosy, and we had all the amenities we needed. A short walk away is a “general “ shop. And also within quick walking distance are two pubs with great food. The wee private garden was wonderful, as well. Would definitely come back!”

“We loved our stay...Alix is a great host and very quick to respond, also very kindly allowed us to check in a little earlier. The Old Stables itself is well positioned; only minutes from the town but nicely tucked away...The kitchen and bathroom are lovely and spotlessly clean - bathroom has gorgeous rainfall shower :) bed was very comfortable...all much appreciated after a long day walking. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend!”

“We had a very enjoyable stay in Chapel House. The house is a great place to relax and take in the wonderful views over the river. It is well equipped with comfortable beds & sofas. “The property was ideally placed with a fantastic view from all windows. The walk into town was easy and took approx 10 mins and the lack of parking at the property was not a problem. We found on street parking approx 5 minute walk away. I would suggest that check in instructions include the fact that the key safe immediately on the RHS of the door is no longer in use and the current one is attached to the adjacent wall. It would have saved a bit of hassle!”
