Great little Spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rui’s apartment. Although small the apartment is in an excellent position, it backs on to the Botanic Gardens, is very quiet and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Rui was excellent in his communications and answered any questions we had quickly. We will definitely stay again when next in Darwin, and have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to anyone thinking of staying in the area. Thanks Rui for a great stay.

Small and dingy

We enjoyed the location right next to the Botanic Gardens, offering pleasant walks and a great shady cafe. But this property did not match our expectations from the listing. The bed is terrible - you can feel every spring and it creaks like a ship at sea. Everything is mismatched, chipped or peeling. The place needs a complete renovation. It is tiny, just a bedroom/ensuite with facilities jammed in to a tiny ‘kitchenette’ and cupboard. Everything works although they need a bit of coaxing - the TV was the blue thing up to scratch (live programming only). Overall the complex has seen better days and its coming edition should be reflected in a lower price. As it is we rate it as 2 stars.

Cheap and cheerful

Accurate description. Its a small room, older style and has everything you need. Rui the host was great. Its nothing fancy but as one of the cheapest places in Darwin, so can't ask for more as a base to leave your stuff and explore. Loved the location- walked through the botanic gardens daily and great coffee, pastries and brekky nearby at Sweetbrew & co coffee shop. Walked easily to Mindil beach markets on Thursday nights.
