Beautiful Daufuskie

The house was beautiful. Outside needs to be spruced up a bit. The inside is lovely and has everything you need. Could have been cleaner. Descriptions could have been better on VRBO. Overall, a beautiful area and will go again some day.

Perfect location. Excellent communication. Great layout. House needs a ton of work. Upstairs shower not usable so super inconvenient for guests staying upstairs. Outdoor loveseat had broken leg. Side stairs not safe. Lots of dead and live bugs in house. AC could not be set below 74. Upstairs smelled musty.

Decent stay

Overall we had a good stay! This house had everything we needed. We are an easygoing group so we still had a good time, but I will say this house has some maintenance issues and is not as clean as it could be. The outdoor shower did not work, there are loose steps leading up to the house, patio furniture was not in good condition, and this house is completely surrounded by abandoned houses (which we thought was interesting, but it might not be ideal for those with kids). The listing makes it seem like there is a communal pool, but the pool is actually 35 per person per day. Overall, this house has what you need, the WiFi and AC work great and the host communication was great.

was good days in large house and where no one around! We like that place, but need to be fixed some small items, like lamps inside of the room, shower on the 1st floor (not working), kitchens item was full of diferent items. Everything is good exept one things, when we choose that place we did not see any deskriptions about how we have to be there - there is a lot additional things we have to know before we choose that place - we have to pay a lot for water fairy, golf carts (whithout them you can not be anywere), shuttle for the house, on the ends we spend much more money than we planing too... there no any description how we have to transfer foods and water. If you have small kids, you have to know all details about that place and we found all that informations only 2 days before our vacation! All place was perfect many years ago, before huricanes... Now everything looks like a lot of damages around and no one take care... If you like to be away from the world - that vacation for you!!!
