Ibis Hotel Alicante

8/10 Good

"No cold water available Wanted a bottle or even a glass of cold water there were two glass water dispensers on counter with water but they were warm had obviously been there for hours A company of this size could provide a cool dispenser for their clients The vending machine in front hall was empty couldn’t buy a snack or drink as this is the only facility in the area very disappointing"

Huerto Del Cura Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Stunning property. The setting is out of this world and you feel like you are on the other side of the world. It’s in a great location and the staff are very helpful. Only one criticism - the pool was incredibly cold. Everyone sat around the pool, with no one able to go in it. Everyone said the same thing - that a property of that calibre should heat the pool"

"Caught the C6 bus from airport, dropped off at the stop 5 mins away. I was confused at first how to get in. There is a gate to both Ibis hotels. You have to ring the bell, the gates will then be opened up, as it was a late check in, I checked in at the ibis hotel on the right. Nice and easy check in, grabbed a pizza from the cafe in the hotel. Arrived in the room, was basic bit all ok, the walls had some residue on, not sure what it was, the interior could do with some updating. The doors to the other rooms were loud when they closed which was annoying in the early hours when people arrived back. I was only there for a night so not that bothered. Would I stay again ? Yes for a stopover which was what I was doing as I was heading to Valencia. Good value for a night or 2."
