Hotel was great except that the pool was closed for renovation and Expedia did show that. The pool for our granddaughter was one of the reasons we selected that hotel. Otherwise it was very good.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. It’s minutes from almost anything in town and easily accessible right off the interstate.

Name changed to Garner IHG so that was a bit confusing. Rooms were nice, bed was comfy as was the pillows. Breakfast was good. Coffee was not good. TV screen was fuzzy in our room. A lot of TV channels to select from. We were with other people who said their TV was fuzzy too. All in all, we would stay again. It was super quiet- we loved that.

Remodeling so everything was tore up. Breakfast wasn’t very good. Pool closed without warning. And paid over $200 a night. The staff were friendly.

Pool broken for months

Came for the pool and water slide. Found out when we got here that they have been broken for months. Staff did very little to accommodate other than say we could walk to another hotel and use their pool. Hampton across the street was ver kind and polite. Would highly recommend them.

Lack of Communication

Staff was friendly. The pool was closed the whole weekend which was the whole point of us getting a hotel room and choosing that hotel because of the water slide. I would have appreciated a call before the weekend that the pool was going to be closed. Yes I would have cancelled my reservation and booked elsewhere because I have 2 little kids that is just easier having a pool on site.

We needed a handicapped accessible room, and we were given one on the first floor, which was great. As soon as we got in our room, we noticed the noise coming from the next room. We thought it was fans, as they had removed fans from our room. The sound never quit, so in early evening, we asked if whatever was making the sound could be turned off so that we could sleep better. The person from the desk came down, and we found out that the sound was coming from a mechanical room next to ours. What ever it was that was making the noise - compressor or something, could not be turned off. She said that she couldn't give us another room, as they were all being used. I think that we should have been offered a refund, or we should have been offered a quiet room in one of the other hotels in the area. We have had a good experience at other Holiday Inn Express hotels, but this was very disappointing due to the constant noise.

Nice breakfast--plenty of choices. The room was clean and comfortable with amenities such as hand soap and shower gel dispensers. Plenty of towels & pillows.
