“This is a difficult review to write because we LOVED our apartment! Until... The location of the apartment cannot be beat! It is in the heart of Hilversum with church bells, shops, restaurants all within a minute's walk. No cars are allowed on the Kerkstraat. The restaurant across the street has a large area of outdoor tables/chairs for meals/coffee/wine at most times of the day. It created a wonderful atmosphere of local hospitality! Problem: it is listed under "Hotels.com," but it was an……

“This is what I refer to as an historical property. It consists of a group of stately mansions on the Vecht river. I am originally from Holland and choose the property to have my American wife experience a little bit of a time when Dutch merchants traded around the world. She very much enjoyed our stay.”

“Goof”

“Very friendly staff and convenient location. ”

“big and clean”

“Very clean place with modern interior design and I love Weesp with its vibe. I wish they can improve more on guest communication as there is no physical reception. Especially I didn't receive any online check-in info via email so it brought me some difficulties to get inside the hotel and did the check-in procedures. The hotel always asked me to get help from the restaurant downstairs to the hotel but reality is that the restaurant was not helpful at all with the hotel guests.”

“Lovely hotel with great restaurant in the walled town of Naarden. We had a magical one night stay on a bicycling trip before our return to Amsterdam.”

“We ended up booking at this inn because our flight to Portugal was cancelled the day before our flight and we had to overnight in the Netherlands. We didn’t want to stay super close to the airport. After looking at the photos of the inn on Expedia, we chose to stay at the Abbey Abcoude, as it seemed close enough to Schipol without being right at the airport. The taxi to Abcoude is pricey, but we discovered the next day that the train is a short walk away from the inn and only involves one……

Goede ervaring, aanrader!”
