Beautiful place

Beautiful place, nice and quite. Had numerous amenities. Loved that they had 2 grills and a Blackstone. Room to park to trailers with 4 side by sides.

Fantastic Family Weekend!

18 of us from ages 13 to 74 all had an amazing time! The amount of actual beds and bathrooms was amazing, no one had to sleep on a pull out couch. The house and garage was incredible for our large group. You only get use of 2 of the 3 garage spaces which was a surprise to us when we arrived but that was fine and we would definitely rent here again!

Family Reunion

Awesome! Perfect fit for extended family. Everything we could possibly need was there. Cant wait to stay here again sometime. Highly recommend Basecamp Lodge. We rent a lot and this was the best experience so far.

Family time

The cabin was very spacious for my family. Variety of rooms to fit the needs of each family. Tons of supplies on hand. Big heated garage for the kids to play in. Loved the open floor plan for our big family. Never had to wait for an open bathroom with having so many. The kids had fun sledding down the hill behind the cabin. The cabin was a bit pricey, but everyone had a great time.

Nothing came out of the vents and also the two bedrooms upstairs don’t get heat either. The fire place along with the furnace warmed the house up. Otherwise everything was very satisfying.

The center island was the perfect size for gathering around and chatting until the wee hours of the morning :) Everyone raved about how comfortable the beds were. The hot tub was a huge hit as well! The house was very clean and everything was easy to find. The contact person was quick to respond to any questions we had via email. All of the girls talked about how we should come back here every so often - it was so fun! During our stay we walked downtown Deadwood, hiked around the lodge and had supper in Spearfish one night! Highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is very nice. It’s well stocked, well furnished and comfortable for a large group. We had issues with hot water and water pressure. They did send someone to attempt to fix it. Unfortunately, it was a hot water heater issue that couldn’t be fixed during our stay. I’m waiting to hear if we’ll be compensated for not being able to shower. If we are, we’ll be satisfied with our stay. If we’re not, I’ll be very unhappy. That’s a lot of money to spend to not be able to shower.

The home was fully furnished with glasses, plates, cookware, pantry staple items, pots, pans, bakeware, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. Plenty of towels. The large glass front refrigerator in the garage with the deluxe ice making machine was wonderful. Unfortunately, the picture shows this house to have a 3 car garage; but only 2 of the doors were useable. This made it difficult to park 11 motorcycles The decor was very "high end" with loads of beautiful "touches." 2 sets of washers & dryers worked out great. This house worked out well & definitely met our needs.

Base Camp Lodge UTV Trip

Property was very accommodating for large groups of people. We had 12 people staying so the 6 bedrooms and six bathrooms was awesome. Having a variety of bedroom arrangements was great as well and would work well with having more people along. Large open common areas was nice with big groups. We will be back again!

Fun Family Weekend

The stay was wonderful and there was plenty of room for the 8 adults and 8 kids. Having six bedrooms with six bathrooms was great. Loved the bedrooms with the king beds and set of bunk beds for the families with little ones. The house was in great shape and clean. Budi and her staff at Black Hills Adventure Lodging were fantastic to work with as well. The extra refrigerator and the corn hole boards were a nice touch too. Our weather was amazing so we were able to spend a lot of time outdoors. Would definitely rent this home again.
