Beautiful 3 Bedroom Year Round Cottage overlooking Deep Cove.

The property is located on the Lighthouse Route Trail in the South Shore area of beautiful Nova Scotia, close to Hubbard's, Chester, Mahone Bay and a short drive to Halifax and the airport. All within a short drive is the Famous Peggy's Cove Lighthouse and the UNESCO World Heritage Town of Lunenburg. Deep Cove is located on the Aspotogan Peninsula very close to the famous Bayswater Beach. The property is situated on a hill overlooking the Cove. There are 18 little houses built in this community and we are on the second level of homes with one of the most stunning views of the water. There is a boat ramp and dock on the water side of the road and great fishing can be done right off the wharf. The property offers peace and relaxation with ample activity happening in the cove. Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, very modern, 1350 sq ft, cottage that is well equipped with all amenities for a great vacation away from home.

Two bedrooms and full bathroom with tub on main floor., along with open concept kitchen and great room. There is a very private upstairs bedroom with a full bathroom and walk in tiled shower. The great room area has cathedral ceiling with lots of pot lights, windows all around and loads of natural light streaming in. Double patio doors open onto the deck area with stunning views of the Cove.

Fifteen minutes drive to Chester and 17 minutes by car to Hubbard's area, 10 minutes from beautiful Bayswater Beach. 45 minutes from Halifax. Boat ramp, dock, horseback riding minutes away. Great kayaking and biking rentals in the area.

Great Place to Stay
We just returned from our trip to NS and we absolutely loved staying a Bella Vista in Deep Cove. The house had all of the amenities needed for a week away and the hosts were so helpful leading up to our trip. They knew we were arriving late in the day and left outdoor lights on for easy access. The house was clean and very comfortable. The views over the cove are breathtaking and we loved having our morning coffee on the patio. The location was convenient for a get-away but close enough to Chester and touring around Hubbards. We took advantage of beach-combing the many beaches in the area and coming back in the evening to a fully equipped kitchen for cooking dinners and relaxing on the patio. Thank you for a such a great place to stay.

Deep Cove Gem
We travelled as two couples. Looking for a quiet location that still allowed us to get out and explore nearby communities. In Nova Scotia driving is just part of the adventure, so it was really nice to have a serene place to start and end our days. We thoroughly enjoyed morning coffee on the patio looking over the harbour - thought the rugosa roses could use a trim. Nearby beaches at Bayswater and Queensland provincial parks were awesome! One suggestion, however. Providing a paper copy of the house rules would have been helpful as I had trouble with the attachments not opening through my VRBO inbox. Hosts were responsive and helpful with this, however. Cottage was very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed preparing meals in a well-equipped kitchen. Lots of hummingbirds, osprey, dragonnflues and busy bees to watch while siping a Nova Scotia wine - we recommend Luckett wines!

Fabulous!
If you are considering staying on the South Shore this property is highly recommended. Everything from start to finish was perfect. It is in a beautiful cove with lovely views from the terrace. Perfect for morning coffee or late evening drinks. The house was clean , spacious and well maintained. It was very well equipped with all household items and amenities. We enjoyed day trips to Luneberg, Mahone Bay and Peggy’sCove as well as shorter jaunts to Chester and Hubbards. Communication with the owners was excellent and we were delighted to have chosen this house. Highly recommended.

Wonderful!
This was actually better than what we had anticipated: we thought the view of the cove would be a bit obstructed by the other houses but it was not. It is a perfect, serene, peaceful place. You can have your morning coffee, or late afternoon cocktail sitting in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the cove…aaaahhhh! The house was perfect, our friends stayed in the upstair’s room, us downstairs. Each our own bathrooms. There is enough space to enjoy and respect everyone. Everything you need was there (pots, containers, dishes, etc). And it was also convenient to have the washer and dryer. Nancy was easy to reach and always helpful, even providing info on events taking place close by while we were there. When we go back to Nova Scotia, we will be sure to enquire about returning.

Best VRBO
This is the best VRBO in which we have ever stayed. It was a quiet and peaceful cove from where we could take day trips. It was also the most well stocked vacation home we have ever seen. It had everything we needed. All 6 of us enjoyed the cottage very much!

Great for Families
We were 4 adults (2 couples) and one infant and stayed 5 nights at this cottage/house. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The location had a beautiful view out over Deep Cove. The spacious interior had 3 bedrooms (2 on the main floor and one upstairs) and one bathroom on each level, including a tub on the main floor. Lots of hot water. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies were excellent. Anything you may have forgotten is probably there. High chair and sleeping cot for the little one, plus a few toys and beach items. Communication with the owners was great. Would we stay again? Absolutely!

Great Vacation home
Went there to take a break from a long road trip. The home was perfect for us. Great location. Went to Bev Funday twice to see high tide and low tide. Went to the Boardwalk In Halifax. I tried a Beavertail for the first time and I am hooked on that treat. Had dinner in Lunenburg. And had breakfast at the deck which was nearby and enjoyable.

Peaceful lovely setting
