「A great little escape. This is a great property and we had a fun ‘escape’. We stayed in one of the yurts for two nights and it was great. The AC worked very well and there are a lot of fun things to do on the property and in the area. We really enjoyed the pool and longing there. The property looks just as good as the photos!」

「The Mountain Star Lodge is a nature lovers' oasis nestled in the midst of a bustling Austin suburb. The lodge is set back from the road, on a hilltop overlooking a lush green valley full of birds and othe lical wildlife. The accomodations are rustic, but clean and spacious. The small kitchenette was an added bonus. The setting is quiet and peaceful, while being just a couple minutes from upscale shopping, entertainment, and offices. The proprietor "Sonny" was friendly and accomodating....

「This is not the right place for you if you want hustle and bustle. It’s quiet but you can still see other guests if you want to. Love the personal fire pit and the lead so we could keep our dog with us. They thought of everything you might want—even a smores kit. It’s not “roughing it.” Good water pressure, cold AC, comfortable bed. Units are small but make the most of the space. Gorgeous picture window from which we watched a herd of deer run by one morning.
