“Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. ”

“House has a lot of deck levels and outbuildings. The stone showers were a first! The sauna was great and the deck views were wonderful. Had an issue with the hot tub in removing the soft cover and leaves getting into the hot tub. The owners and manager responded within literally minutes. They sent someone over right away and it was cleaned by the time that we returned to the house an hour later. The fireplaces and the firepit on the deck were wonderful when the temps got down into the 40s.……

“This was a quick getaway and our first time in the NC mountains. The views were beautiful. We spent our time enjoying the quietness, reading in front of the fireplace and just a lazy few days. The house was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely want to come back again.”

“With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!”

“We really enjoyed the cabin a lot of history in the cabin. The view and the wildlife was amazing. The walk we took thru the woods and to the creek was delightful and a bit of a work out. The cabin is set in a beautiful place but yet close to blowing rock.”

“We loved spending our 30th wedding anniversary at Mountain Song Cabin. The views are wonderful--ponds, green fields, and multiple mountain ranges. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub. The cabin itself is cozy and old-fashioned. The beds are big and comfortable. The location was good for trips into Boone and Blowing Rock. I'd definitely stay again.”

“This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. “My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and it was a great escape. There are neighbors but you have your privacy still. The area was nice and quiet - no cell service but we were able to use the provided wifi when we needed with our smart phones. The cabin is a perfect size for 2 or a small, young family. It was basically one large space with a bathroom as the only separated room. It was SUPER CLEAN. It has everything you needed. I felt that the owners went above and beyond to provide……

“Perfect mountain getaway. Super clean and well stocked cabins. Only negative thing about the trip was the location of the cabins. Wayyyyyy down a mountain curvy road and dirt road, took us about 30 minutes to get to the main road. Also, there is no cell service at the cabin, so make all your phone calls before you get off the main road.”
