“Just a nice place to stay, no real issues other than the thermostats were difficult to figure out, the kitchen roof leaks a little water when you shower upstairs, and the fridge shakes the house when the compressor turns off. Home owner was kind enough to mail me my souvenirs I souvenirs left, and everything was neat and tidy.”

“We had a great stay! The house was comfortable, peaceful, and had basically all the amenities we could need. Would definitely stay again!”

“The house was a very nice home on a secluded road which made it all nice and quiet. This was a retirement gift trip for my parents. Overall everything was really nice. The only issue is the house has inadequate heat for the size and openness of the home. Though it was an issue the first couple nights the property managers were very nice and brought by space heaters to ensure my folks stayed warm through the chilly nights. They still enjoyed themselves and spent most of there time in Bar Harbor.……

“We enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent 3 days enjoying the area; hiking in Acadia, browsing shops in Bar Harbor and eating lots of Maine lobster-(btw, Beal’s in Southwest Harbor lobster rolls 10/10). The location is nice with a spacious, tranquil yard. A few deer wandered through the yard briefly at dawn and dusk, along with many songbirds. It felt relaxing. The cottage is roomy with lots of seating, beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We would stay again.”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Tiny House. It was cozy and comfortable for the two of us, and the view of the bay was wonderful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The neighborhood was quiet, and not too far from Bar Harbor / Acadia. There is also a nice little bakery 10 minutes away.”

“We really enjoyed staying here with our family on a trip to see Mount Desert Island (MDI) and Acadia. This was our kids first time being to MDI and having this house was perfect. The yard was great so they could run around and play on the swing set. Also, the kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to make multiple meals (you bring your own groceries) without having to go out. This makes it much more pleasant when traveling with kids. Our kids also enjoyed the multitude of items……

“Overall, it was a nice place to relax at, especially after being out all day. I enjoyed the views from the deck and also walking to the pier for a closer look of the boats and sunsets. Everyone was able to spread out and still have room. The table was large & great for gaming & eating. There are good places to eat nearby, especially the one about 2 houses down. Plenty of parking is provided. (Driveway is a little tricky to find at first) Photos accurately represent the listing. It is a good……

“We recently returned to Indiana after a 6 night stay. We are a family of 4 (two boys, 8 & 10) plus a set of grandparents. The cottage is a few years old and it’s been very well maintained. I was impressed by how clean the cottage was when we arrived. We ate breakfast and a few dinners at the cottage, and we found the kitchen to have everything we needed. We made a stop at Walmart in Ellsworth prior to making the trip across the bridge to Mount Desert Island, but we were thankful for the nearby……

“This property is centrally located in Rockland and within walking distance to the harbor, dining, coffee, shopping, and more. We had a great harbor view from our room. And while Trade Winds is old and needs work (smells old and we had to air out our room every time we came back to it.), it's in the ideal location and we would definitely stay there again; just wish the price was a little less expensive. Customer service and communication was top notch and exceeded all expectations. ”

“Lighthouse Cabins were very clean and the owners are very friendly, professional and full of information for us. We were not sure what to do at this part of Acadia NP and we were helped. Lovely inside cabin, hot water all the time and free washer and drier. Would stay again. ”
