“We have stayed at this motel on two occasions now and have recommended it to others because it is comfy and clean and has a good space. It is also close in proximity to our friend's cabin which is where we spend most of our time. Love the area - lake life, forests, and some wildlife.

“Overall, the accommodations were good. Unfortunately for 7 days during our stay the adjacent owner was building a new home and excavators were active from 7am throughout the day. We would up taking day trips to the various lakes in the area. We purchased some additional DVD at a local thrift store and left them for others to enjoy.”

“Is exactly as advertised. It is in the country about a half a kilometre from the lake. There are horses, dogs & cats to enjoy. My room was spacious & comfortable. There’s also a common room & a common kitchen with your personal mini fridge. The hostess offered to prepare breakfast & dinner, presumably for a fee but I travel self-sufficient & was very comfortable preparing my own meals & dining in the common area & in the beautifully set up lawn area on the day the weather complied. “Perfect spot for relaxing at the lake. The cabin has everything you need. We appreciated the screened in patio, loved being able to tie up the boat to the dock, and relaxed in the shade of the covered deck to read a book.”

“Its a beautiful and lovely place to stay for a vacation. We really enjoyed the place. The weather was not warm but inside the house is warm and comfortable. They kept everything we needed.

“Beautiful lake, cabin was semi-clean, needs a deep clean. Cabin has a strong, musty mothballs smell( not pleasant in my opinion). For the price that we paid per night, I felt that firewood should be included. We had some cold, rainy days and the inside electric fire sound like it was going to blow up so we had to turn the stove on to warm up the place. Barbeque that they provided was not in good repair and was full of cigarette butts.”

“We just returned from our 5 night stay at this lovely home. The location is amazing, the property is incredible and the home itself was just perfect for us. The home was spotless, well stocked, roomy and comfortably cool despite some very warm weather. The views from the home are spectacular. The home has a huge lovely deck that is sunny and warm in the morning and shaded in the heat of the afternoon - we spent much time there. The property is enormous; it feels like you have an entire resort……

“Huge, super cute cabin. Lots of rooms for guests. Lots of outdoor space. A 2 min walk to the water, space to put your towels down and go for a swim. Hosts were friendly and had great communication throughout our trip.”
