Need to get away? This brand new, Cozy Cottage, directly on the lake, with breathtaking sunsets, awaits you. Away, yet, only minutes from the city. Come explore and appreciate, the splendor of Mariaville Lake. Its atmosphere, the friendliness of the locals. This quaint setting, will inspire you. Whether you enjoy, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, or simply rowing, Mariaville Lake, has it all. Sit at your romantic, private, table for 2, while enjoying a glass of home-made wine or your favorite cocktail, next to the flowing stream.

Nothing like early fishing, or morning jog around the lake, to start the morning. For swimming, I suggest to wear lake shoes, zebra mussels present.

This setting will inspire the poet, or the artist, in you. Write your book, or read your favorite one, sketch your visions.Take in some rays or sunbathe and work on your tan.

Majestic Bold Eagles and Gray Herons, are often visitors, adding to the beauty of this setting.

During season, celebrate your winnings from the Saratoga Racetrack, approximately 22 miles away.

This fully furnished cottage, has all the comforts of home. From fully equipped kitchen, with dining area, to living area, to private parking. It’s queen size, murphy bed, in cherry, will recharge your battery. Cook in, or order from the local mom & pop store, or dine out at several fine restaurants, nearby.

Visit the local “Back Barn Brewery”, stroll the nearby wooded, “Plotterkill Trail”, with waterfall. Try your luck at the "Rivers Casino", only 12 miles away. Brush up on your geology knowledge, by visiting the widely known, 'Howe Caverns", only 23 miles away.

In season, bring out your skis for enjoyment at the Maple Ski Ridge, within 3 miles, or relax with some ice fishing, in your backyard.

$139 per night, except for, during Saratoga Racetrack Season, July 11 thru September 2nd.

I stayed in this perfectly managed, lovely studio with an excellent water view for a work trip. Winter and cold with snow, nice and close to Amsterdam, NY. I felt at home and well cared for by snacks and fruit left for my enjoyment. The hosts were very accommodating as well.

Lovely place in a beautiful and solitary setting. And is often the case, the hosts made this even more special with their extra care and quick responses. Their thoughtfulness was also obvious in the care, furnishings and extra treats! We were also close enough to interesting features to have relaxed day trips.

We had an amazing stay. The property was charming, clean, and well stocked with anything you might need for your getaway. Tony was very welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Very Relaxing Business Trip

I stayed here for work, it was a 3-week trip, and I cannot say enough good things about the property or the host (Anthony). I was greeted with a bottle of wine and a kitchen pre-stocked with bottled water, muffins, snacks, coffee, and fruit. The cottage was very comfortable, and the views across Mariaville Lake were outstanding. His local suggestions for restaurants and shopping were also very helpful. My wife Robin came up for a week and also fell in love with the place. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you, Anthony, for making my stay unforgettable.

TREMENDOUS and Cozy Stay

Travelled up to Upstate New York to spend a weekend going to Saratoga Race Course and was so blessed to find this gem on the Mariaville Lake. The price was very fair and Tony and Patti were fantastic hosts. I can't wait to come back and do less! It's one of the most scenic VRBOs that I have ever stayed in and I can't wait to come back and just sit by the lake, enjoy a little wine, and do NOTHING. Whether you want to just relax in the wonderfully comfortable and air conditioned room, or want to sit by the lake, or go into Saratoga Springs or Schenectady, this is your spot.

Cozy Lake Cottage

This cottage by the lake is a very special place! We were overjoyed when we arrived to see such beautiful grounds, a gorgeous house, a picturesque lake and a very cute cottage! Tony, our host, was very welcoming and charming. It was a pleasure to get to know him and spend sometime in relaxed conversation. He was there to help us when we needed but stayed away when we didn’t. The cottage came complete with fruit, muffins, water, coffee, tea, and more - even a bottle of his homemade wine! No Complaints!

Our host, Tony, was very hospitable and the property was in a gorgeous area not terribly far from most essentials. We barely needed to shop for them, however, as he stocked the cottage with just about anything and everything we could’ve needed. I highly recommend staying here if you happen to vacation to this area.

From top to tail this property is everything it promises and more. The perfect getaway and the coziest camp to come home to after some gruleing, long, cold days of house hunting. Tony and patti were our first greetongs to the state of new york and cant wait to cone back.

Beautiful, a great experience

The host and the property were excellent. It is a two-year-old property that looked brand new. All amenities are provided, including a gorgeous view! We really enjoyed our stay and loved meeting and talking with our host, the property owner! A genuine, very likable owner. Fresh fruit and muffins were provided for our stay. Thank you, Tony!

Lovely Cozy Cottage

We loved this little cottage on the lake! It was nestled in the woods on the owners beautiful property. It was so quiet and peaceful! The property manager was extremely friendly and very accommodating! Tony was always available to answer any questions or concerns. He felt like family! The cottage is only a couple years old and everything still looks brand new. Very clean and nicely decorated. Anything you would want is there! This was recommended to us by other family members that stayed there and we were not disappointed! We will be going back to this cottage since family lives close to this location! We truly enjoyed our visit to this "Cozy Cottage"! Thank you, Tony!!

Perfect getaway

This was the best VRBO we ever stayed at. Location was marvellous, host was AMAZING, accommodations were clean, well stocked and even a bowl of fruits and fresh cut flowers to welcome us. lovely little lake house

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at Tony and Patti's place. The little house was perfect for us to stay close to our daughter and her family and use it as our "home base" while we were visiting them. We didn't get to use all of the amenities, yet the ones we used were great! The place was very clean and well stocked with several items you would use daily and additional ones (like the overflowing bowl of fresh fruit). Tony and Patti are the most hospitable VRBO owners I have ever interacted with (having used dozens of VRBOs previously). Their generosity and welcoming personalities were a lovely interaction. Using the kayaks and canoe on the lake with our grandchildren and daughter were such a kindness, and the memories made are precious. We both recommend this little lake house for a stay away from home.

Tony was a fantastic host. Tony's place was immaculate, well stocked. Tony made us feel lime family. Tony bent over backwards to give us insight to places to go, eat and see. He even had a bottle of wine for us when we arrived for our anniversary. His kayaks and canoes were available to use on the lake that his property was on. My wife and I will be sure to go back again. 5 stars all around.
