“We had a lovely weekend at the cottage for my birthday! Amanda and Pete were great hosts and were very responsive. They even left us a little birthday treat and card which made the weekend even more special. The house was cute and cozy and nicely appointed. We loved the hot tub and the quick walk over to Bear Chase brewery! We would love to come back and stay again soon!”

“We stayed here when in Warrenton to care for a loved one. It was the perfect location between the hospital and town in a lovely quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Chase was wonderful to work with and Mike (the owner) was very welcoming. Not only were we given bread, eggs, sausage at the beginning of our stay, we found some beautiful daffodils on our doorstep during our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you!”

Also enjoyed the grill, fire pit and comfortable beds and living area! Loved the proximity to great trails and enjoyed beautiful views and beer at the brewery. Hope to return!”

“This property was amazing for our weekend getaway. The property manager was amazing, and on top of us needing a fridge due to ours not getting cold. We had two babies that are both nursed and our breastmilk is as you know liquid gold! It was late on a Friday night and they bought us a mini fridge to help. “We loved our stay in this beautiful home. The house was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and my granddaughters loved playing in the backyard. It is however in a pretty remote area, but Harpers Ferry wasn’t too far. If we come back to this area again we would definitely rent this house again. Communication with our host was wonderful and they were very accommodating.”

The cottage is tastefully decorated and super clean, with beautiful views from every window. We had a welcome package waiting for us (wine/cheese/chocolates) and the owner gave the kids mini pumpkins as we were checking out. Very kind, thoughtful owner with excellent communication.
