"Upon arrival we were informed that the Hotel was under renovations and that construction would start daily at 8am. Due to this unexpected activity, we were not able to use the amenities and were unable to stay in the accessible room (walk-in shower) we booked and prepaid for. My mom was never able to take a shower during our entire stay as she's handicapped. When I asked to switch rooms (prior to checking in), I was told they could not accommodate any change requests. To say the least, I was very disappointed with my stay there."

Eagle View Motel & Retreat

"Eagle View operates essentially like an Air BnB. You won't see any staff, and you will check in by way of code. The property has lovely views, and our room was clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet. Be aware that if you rent the cottage, you are renting the backside of the laundry -- with a view of the parking lot. Nevertheless, it's such a lovely area that you probably won't be spending much time in your room. The view over the river is incredible, and the bird life in the area is a treat. Yes, you will view eagles!"

Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Fayette

"Borders is quant. Cute and conveniently located. However the breakfast selection is mid. Seems to be in sanitary. It appears the staff is not sanitizing the food equipment. For example the same containers for waffle toppings were filled without being washed twice in my four day stay. I noticed floaters on the community drinking carafe. The windows were filthy with fingerprints. The lawn was over grown. In my experience in hospitality in the past. That's unexpeable."

"This hotel met every need! Great breakfast in the morning. Everything was neat and clean. Rooms nice and spacious and clean. Pool area was tight, but it was clean and the kids had fun. Loved that you could walk to several restaurants in the area. Walmart across the street and plenty of gas stations around. Literally 10 mins to the wedding venue that we attended.Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved this hotel."

"One of the nicest place I hv stayed! Most imp property is sparklingly clean. Staff and especially an old lady at the reception was extremely gracious. Whatever question we had.. She was happy to help!! Only thing I didn't like was the coffee and the breakfast..omg the coffee was absolutely tasteless"
