“We enjoyed our stay at the Dyersville property. We were pleased that the property was not far from the “Field of Dreams” location. The room was nicely appointed and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had a restful night’s sleep. We would definitely stay there again!”

“The space was welcoming, clean and quiet. It’s a fabulous location. We were at a family reunion but the location near the park offers a lot of recreational opportunities. There is a surprising amount of sleeping space. Shari was very responsive so any questions were addressed quickly. It was very hot so we didn’t spend much time outside but the new patio with the fire pit would be fantastic for cooler evenings. I was concerned that we only had one bathroom for 4 couples but there is a……

“We had a wonderful stay at Timberside! Everything thing was clean, check-in was a breeze and everything was as pictured. There are extras included such as shampoo and conditioner, yard games and a fresh loaf of zucchini bread! John was very responsive and the location was perfect. It’s just a couple of minutes from town but you wouldn’t know it once you are there. Our family really enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend.”

If you are planning a trip to Backbone State Park, this home is perfect, as it is just a short drive from the park entrance.However, we did notice a few details regarding the sleeping arrangements:Master Bedroom: The mattress is comfortable but the frame is quite squeaky. A single quiet sleeper will be fine, but multiple people may find their sleep……

“Host is easy to communicate with and very responsive. The apartment is beautiful and full of rustic charm down to the hand hewed beams and 160 year old hardwood floor's. Well equipped with pots , pans and the like as well as spices if you choose to cook. ”

“This is a great location right in town. Close to all the local baseball fields and Field of Dreams movie site. We have stayed here two different times. Similar price point to a hotel room, but more space and a full kitchen. The host was great to work with helping me with some adjustments to our schedule.”
