I recently stayed at your New Delhi property and I wanted to share my experience, as I honestly feel the price I paid was not justified for a 5-star hotel. To start with, the room itself was decent and comfortable, but it did not meet the standards expected from a premium property. The overall cleanliness could have been much better, and there was an unpleasant smell that made the room feel less fresh than it should. Additionally, while I understand the building is older, I believe it can still be operated and maintained to a higher standard, especially considering the brand reputation and pricing. The most frustrating part of my stay was during checkout. I tried calling the front desk continuously for about 30 minutes, but no one answered. Eventually, I stepped out to ask for assistance and met one of the room cleaners. I requested help with my luggage and was told, “Okay sir,” but no one came. After waiting another 20 minutes, I went out again and asked the same person. Once again, I was told to wait, but after an additional 15 minutes, I still received no support. At that point, I had no choice but to go all the way down to the lobby myself to request help. It seemed like there was a communication gap, and during this time the phone service also appeared to not be working properly, which made the situation worse.
