“The owner of this VRBO went out of her way on the design of this house. I felt this home could be on the beach. Attention to detail is important and she has nailed it! Being close to the lake was nice. The landscape is a wonderful respite in this desert community. I would recommend this home to anyone planning on staying in the area.”

“Cool spot. Right next to the beach. The power never charged that well. It runs off of solar power. It got a little windy that night but was still pretty nice location. The owner let us stay on the beach a little longer as well. They seemed very nice.”

“As expected, the tent was on a cool lake in a very remote spot. Unfortunately, the tent was definitely not the one pictured in the listing. The listing showed a round tent, and this one was a typical “house” style. It is quite windy on the lake, so be prepared to keep the tent closed up. The lake itself is hard to use, but it was a beautiful sunset. They had a bathroom trailer nearby but hauled it off at night, so we had to drive to some less than desirable accommodations up the hill. Overall,……

“This was the perfect spot to gather our family of 15 who came from 4 different states. We ranged in age from 5 to 78 and there was always something for everyone - a nice pool, hot tub, pool table, Foosball, large kitchen with plenty of cooking supplies and plenty of bedrooms and triple bunk beds that the kids enjoyed!”

“We loved our stay at The View. The home was beautiful and so well furnished. We loved having bathrooms with every bedroom, plus a bunk room for the kids. The kitchen was roomy and well furnished. We loved the outdoor space with the deck, hot tubs, playground, grassy area, and ampitheater. The access to the lake was close and the dock was very nice. The view is a perfect name for the home, as the views are truly spectacular. Thanks for sharing your home with us.”

“The property is obviously older and just recently taken over by new owners who are putting in the work to bring it up to a standard. They were pleasant and accommodating and had the property clean and nice, albeit dated. On Expedia, however, it is listed as a VRBO where you get the “whole house” which includes “Bedroom 1” and “Bedroom 2”. The hotel was 45 minutes out of the way for me on a 3-day trip, but I did the driving so I could better accommodate my wife and children, but it ended up……

“This camper was on a quiet lake and the views were beautiful. We rented a kayak for a day and it was very inexpensive. The hosts communicated very well with us and even came out to help us with how to use the generator. The camper itself was clean, but you can tell it's been sitting on the beach for awhile, because there was built up sand on the window sills and sand in sink and the shower water. “While this place was absolutely beautiful, there were a few issues. 1. The map location on VRBO is incorrect and brought me to a rough road past some railroad tracks. After calling the host, he gave me the correct directions. But it was frustrating that the location was incorrect. 2. The bathroom was a 10 min walk away/each way. So if you just wanted to brush your teeth (and it was very dark outside), you had to take at least 25 mins for the whole adventure! 3. The bathroom was a little rundown.……

“Beautiful location that felt like a private beach almost. Enter at the green gate, "Sandy Beaches." The yurts are beautiful and well kept. A fire pit is provided and you can buy firewood. Watercraft toys are also available to rent. Family and pet friendly, but also great for an adult getaway!”

“Very cute property with a great location within walking distance to 2 lakes, easy access to U-Dig Fossils. Had trouble accessing the property because VRBO wouldn't connect. The toilet paper roller is placed so you have to bend backwards - also troublesome was the steep staircase with no railing. The internet went out several times but had to restart the router. MANY accessories.”
