“Charming boutique hotel—cozy, stylish, and well kept. The staff are genuinely courteous and attentive, offering helpful tips and warm service throughout. Food is excellent (breakfast is a standout), making the on-site dining worth staying in for. Convenient location too: about 15 minutes from the center of Monemvasia, so you’re close to the action but in a quieter spot. Overall, great value for a relaxed, quality stay.”

“A lovely location and unique building layout. Our room was great, the bed comfortable, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good with freat service. The only reasons that we didn't give it an excellent was the lack of a toilet seat (which they remedied by opening the second bathroom) and the cooking tools were very limited.”

“Our stay here was pleasant, though there were a few challenges. We had some difficulty with the gate at arrival, as instructions on how to enter were not clear, and we were also unsure where to leave the remote control upon departure. Additionally, it felt a bit misleading that there were no photos showing the farm animals on the property (cats, dogs, geese, chickens, horses, etc.), which are very much present. “The accommodation was lovely - clean, warm and welcoming. The view of the sea is amazing and the location (near gates of castle but within the castle walls is unbelievably magical. Highly recommend!”

From the amazing breakfast buffet to the evening cocktails everything was wonderful. The view is outstanding and the pool is amazing. The room was very comfortable and came with robes and slippers, making it feel like home away from home. Everything was above expectation, and we look forward to going back again.”

“The experience of staying within walls is something else. Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) The Likinia Hotel is well located, about a 5 minute walk away from the main street and sufficiently separated. At times you even have the feeling that you have the whole fortress to yourself. Since the family room was the last available option, we had an entire apartment with 2……
