「Loved our room, very clean, bathroom was awesome and we slept like babies. Only negative was head board was hard and pillows not plump and big enough to sit up in bed comfortably. Josh & Vianca were so hospitable and were available for any questions, etc. we had a wonderful restful week, would definitely return. 10 out of 10!」

「This was a return visit for us. Lovely, spacious, well-appointed home in a very private, quiet location. It is a great home base for exploring the area - Cutler, Lubec, Campobello, Eastport, Cobscook Bay, Schoodic Point. Lots of hiking trails for all abilities with stunning scenery. Machias is convenient for restaurants and food shopping, gas stations, etc. The owner and the property manager are terrific & very helpful. Highly recommend!」

「This was a surprise get away. With that, I was surprised by the location’s beauty and excited to stay in a cottage that was like a doll house. The cottage was well decorated, supplied, and overall clean. Being close to the West Quoddy Lighthouse, Campobello Island, all the natural trails, and of course being able to see the sunrise over the Atlantic where it touches the continental US first thing (while in bed if you so choose) is amazing!! Wonderful experience!」

As wonderful as the photos and description may be, it is actually better! Lots of attention to the small things that make traveling easier. And as many others have said, sitting on the porch was very relaxing. Communication with Lucas was easy and prompt and without a doubt I would stay here again and highly recommend.」

「We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning.」
