staff was amazing with any questions i had. the room was clean and in a wonderful neighborhood. The person in the room above us walked around loudly from 3am to 6am and we heard every bit of it. The parking recommended by the hotel was an additional $75 for our stay. other than that the place was good. we loved the location and everything we could walk to.

The property was nice and the unit was clean. However, the keypad on the door to get into the unit stopped working and we were locked out. It took 45 minutes for the maintenance call service to troubleshoot.

The room is perfect for a weekend getaway. It was so nice to have a mini kitchen and something you can’t even find in a traditional hotel. We stayed in the loft and it made the studio apartment vibe feel bigger. Great location and was easy to find parking within a block of the building.

The toilet paper had mold on it. The place was very dirty under the bed. Old food and trash. Very dusty. Kind of was disappointed but besides that I enjoyed my stay.

Online there seems to be many people that are confused on how to get the access code for the room, myself included. I would bet this is because if you had accessed the check in link prior to the 24 hours mark, your code will remain hidden. I was only able to see room code after finding the most recent text link to the check in page, and when using the fresh link it was visible.

What I liked: The bed was comfy. The kitchen was nice. What needs improvement: Coffee service was seriously lacking, Carpets are needed to reduce serious stomping from upstairs neighbors. Thicker windows to drown out the parties going on across the street at the local restaurant. More detailed instructions regarding troubleshooting the TV. The noise from the upstairs neighbor and the loud party noises will keep me from coming back to the Artesian.

The bed was not a Queen size bed as advertised. It felt more like a short Full bed, the length of a shorter camper van mattress. I’m 6ft tall, and my feet were hanging off the edge of the bed. The TV would not connect to WiFi, even after following the instructions in our ‘Welcome email’. Lastly, the coffee and tea are a nice touch, however the tea seemed like it was ten years old.

Beautiful place in an excellent walk around neighborhood of LoHi. Everything was clean and the vibe of the neighborhood was fun and felt safe. Loved having the small washer/dryer combo for our longer stay. The beds were more like full and stiffer more like European style.

The studio apartment was lovely and location good, but the checkin process was the worst I’ve experienced booking through Expedia. It took nearly an hour from receiving the auto-generated confirmation email on the phone first with the property’s and then Expedia’s customer service to get an access code for the building and then our room. If it’s going to take ‘up to 24 hours from booking to receive checkin instructions’ as that email informed me after charging my credit card then you shouldn’t be allowed to book and pay full price for same day checkin. Once we could finally access our room our stay was fine but the front end hassle would give me pause to book again.

I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency kitchen with full refrigerator and all necessary utensils and dinnerware. The down comforter had someone else’s cheese or something that looked like cheese, so that was an unpleasant sight. Overall a good experience, wish washcloths had been provided, I used a hand towel instead.

I paid for three days at this place, and when I arrived, all I could focus on was the putrid, overwhelming, nasty stench, that overtook the whole entire building. A gentleman was checking in at the same time I was and he was in total disgust with the place as well. It smells like this place must sit on top of 10 years of trash, either that, or there's dead bodies in the basement. Unless you have permanent smell loss from Covid.... I suggest you not book this place. I immediately got a hold of my booking agent and to let them know that I would not be staying any longer than the five minutes I stepped foot into the room, and he then contacted the property for me. He came back and informed me that "Black Swan" was refusing any refund whatsoever, I'm the basis that I didn't contact them myself. I didn't do this because I thought someone with an unbiased approach would be a better option for everyone involved. Needless to say, I left there as fast as I got there. I couldn't help but feel like the stench clung to my skin after I left for hours. I would never recommend this property, to anyone, not even my own worst enemy. Proceed with caution!! And if you decide to go, don't say I didn't warn you.

Could not get code to work on door, texted staff with no response. After numerous attempts I was able to test keypad and input code to open door. After that code worked every time. TV would not work, no internet connection. I had to use my phone for hotspot. Coffee maker does not work! Tried 3 times and had to clean up 3 messes. Gave up and was going to leave a note, but did not have a pen. Location felt safe and close to everything!

While the room was as pictured, the staff was no help what so ever. Aug. 17th - When I got to the room after a day of meetings, I wanted to watch TV but remote would not work, there were no batteries in the remote. I texted staff contact number provided and they informed that no one was on site to assist but that they would bring batteries for the remote the next morning. Aug. 18th - I returned to the room in the evening, and discovered the batteries were not delivered. I checked my texts the staff informed that they were not able to make it with the batteries that day but would deliver them the next day. Aug. 19th - I texted the staff number this next morning requesting additional towels when they bring by the batteries. The glass shower is missing the silicone/rubber lip on the door that prevents the water from flooding onto the floor. I had to use the one of the two towels to keep the floors from being a death trap. The staff responded noting that they do not provide additional towels during the stay and was told to use the laundry room. I was only there 3 days, doing laundry for insufficient towel allotment because of a faulty glass shower was not on my agenda. I walked out of the room minutes later from getting this text and a staff member walked by with a kart full of towels so it wasn't that they couldn't provide towels but that they wouldn't. At the end of the day, the batteries were provided but the remote was just fully broken. Crap service the entire stay.
