What a beautiful stay! So quaint and beautiful on the lake. The rooms are very roomy, beautiful bathrooms. The staff is lovely. Breakfast limited to only French toast or cereal but French toast was delicious! We came up for Binghamton graduation and everything was sold out in Binghamton. So happy we ended up staying here! Would come again!

Country Lake Hideaway

Amazingly friendly staff, perfectly cooked meal, well made drinks with an awesome view of the lake. It’s a historic building which adds to the stress relief.

After some considerable difficulty in having the property honor our reservation, we arrived, got our room and enjoyed a well maintained facility, in a beautiful location, albeit with limited on-site activities, even though located directly on a large lake. On balance, very nice property if you need to be in that area; but not worth travelling there just for the stay.

A Catskill Mountain get away

Wonderful place! Great staff, wonderfully clean and neat traditional Victorian Catskill resort lovingly restored and preserved. A real treasure! A great place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Beautiful setting! Lovely rooms clean and had wonderful amenities. Need sign by spa tub to turn it on as switch on wall near shower and not at all obvious! Front desk attendant on check-in gave mis info on breakfast and breakfast attendant not very engaging. Checkout clerk extremely helpful!

It was both peaceful and quiet during the day but loud at 4 am. There needs to be a sign that says quiet hours from say 11-7 am. I hate to say anything negative because it is such a beautiful place and the stagf was wonderful but I want to be honest.

Lovely stay

This property is absolutely lovely and inviting! The room was cozy and spotless, and it seems like it’s had some nice updates recently. I especially loved the bathroom, which features a separate whirlpool tub and shower—both in great condition! Just a heads-up, though: the room isn’t accessible for those with mobility challenges, so I might not be able to bring along guests who would need that. Nonetheless, we found it to be the best price for graduation weekend in the Binghamton area! The restaurant offers great drinks and food.
