Finding our way was not difficult. We missed our dogs, but totally understand the no pets policy. Too many choices for the TV. I was grateful to have help from a 5th grader.”

“In 2015, my family stayed at the Rum Runner House for my oldest son's wedding. This time my youngest son got married and imagine my joy when the Rum Runner House was available to rent this weekend since we had such a good time the first time we stayed here. “The house owner was very communicative, and helped me check in early. It is a large, beautiful home with lots of bells and whistles. There is a great TV and kitchen on the main floor, with another of each in the lower level. Room for plenty of people, clean well equipped bathrooms and a nice yard with outside seating. I am just so surprised by the smell of the house that I have to buy a scented candle and air spray just to meet what is conducive to what I am used to like hotels and other rented places. “We used this house as a base for a for a week long Mother-Daughter-Granddaughter get together. The large kitchen (actually 2 of them) and gathering rooms were perfect for entertaining as well as the huge deck. We had a cook-out one day and had around 22 people popping in and out.
