“Vijf jaar geleden verbleven wij al in Corciano. Deze keer was het net zo heerlijk als toen. Het huis heeft alles wat wij nodig hebben (goed bed, complete keuken, sfeer). Het dorpje is prachtig en heeft een goede bakker, cafeetjes en restaurant. De eerste avond hebben wij voor 50 euro erg lekker en uitgebreid gedineerd, verzorgd door de overbuurvrouw. We hadden dit keer iets minder geluk met het weer, want vooral de buitenplaats is een genot om te verblijven (met een wijntje en boek).”

Seven km up a winding road past Assisi which locals call “the city” sit two villas from the 17th century, a small swimming pool, horses in the summer and 20 hectare of Umbrian heaven. The view was spectacular and the villas very spacious, clean and well maintained. Todi is also a good choice if you want to explore both Umbria and Tuscany. We want to come back! “We were met at the airport by Stephano (connected with him thru George). We also rented a car from Stephano. We had a pleasant drive to Todi and learned some history of the area. when we arrived at the house the cleaning lady was ill so there was a substitute. She may have felt some pressure since we arrived early. Stephan showed us around the house, which is lovely. George was always available for my many questions. George and his wife had everything we needed for our stay in their house or……

“We staid at "la piccolo noce" for 9 days and enjoyed the stay very much. A quiet place with very friendly and open-minded landlords. A big garden to share with the other tenants, with many places where you can sit or eat - while hearing the donkey-calls from the neighbourhood or the birds and chicken.”

“Jeżeli potrzebujesz wypocząć od zgiełku miejskiego to moim zdaniem nie ma lepszego miejsca. Dom przestronny i bardzo dobrze wyposażony. Basen duży i czysty. Dużo miejsca w ogrodzie do relaksu i wypoczynku. Miejsce do wspólnych posiłków przy basenie dla 12 osób. Zdecydowanie polecam ten dom”

“Abgesehen von Bauarbeiten in der Nachbarschaft und seher bellfreudigen Hunden in großer Zahl war das ideal zum Entspannen - auf relativ großem Anwesen mit altem Baumbestand - und als Ausgangspunkt für Touren in der Umgebung. (Vorsicht: Teils kriminell schlechter Straßenzustand.) Das Klima ist sehr angenehm, da in knapp 700m Höhe, und konkret auf dem Grundstück wegen der Bäume. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und engagiert und völlig unkompliziert.”

“We had a fantastic time at Aethos Saragano. We stayed for a week in one of the village rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The restaurant, Ceci, is fantastic - we ate there four nights, and could have happily had done more. The view from the restaurant and terrace is amazing - rolling Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. There are lots of fun things to do in the area - wine tasting, village breaks, trips to the lake - though you will need a car. The hotel……
