「Great weeken」

「Peaceful country setting. Wonderful host. Wonderful stay.」

「Very nice place.」

「The place was cozy and spacious. We all had a ton of fun and plan on coming back next year. 」

「To be very honest the property is not what I expected from the listing. However, after getting settled in and the excellent communication with the host, the 6-week stay was very pleasant. The host was wonderful and checked on us on a regular basis. Host was very quick to fix any issues and was also very quick in all responses. They made us feel welcome. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to someone who is looking for a reasonably priced home to...

「The air conditioning was not adequate to keep the temperature comfortable. We ran all the window units the whole time we were there, and I don't think the temperature was ever below 80 degrees. If you were sleeping right under the A/C, it was ok, but otherwise it was pretty sweaty. We were pretty dissatisfied with the temperature. Granted, it was cooler than outside, but it wasn't great.」

「Nice place!」

「This is our second year booking these cabins. We spend time fishing on the river which is about 10 minutes away. We love the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The cabins have SO much room. The host is so accommodating and always available. We will be back next Memorial Day, if not sooner! 」

「Don't waste your money on hotels. They just aren't worth it! You can have a cabin to yourself with everything you need. PLUS trails to walk, the clearest pool and bath house I've ever been in, located in the middle of whatever you want to do. And only about 1 hour away from the Quad Cities. I was able to shuttle my grandkids to ballgames and practices for the week, plus visit my other kids in the Quad Cities. Check in was exactly how the hosts described. And they lay it all out on how you need...

「Our travel softball team stayed here during a tournament as a get away and culture building activity. It was a wonderful stay and everything we were looking for! The cabin was wonderfully maintained. We are so glad we came!」

「Cabin was clean and spacious. I had 6 teenage boys with me and we were comfortable. I used the loft and had some privacy. We explored the area by swimming at beaches, fishing, and rented a boat on Lake MacBride. I’d definitely go back. 」

「The property was quiet. There were no disruptive noises. The temperature control was easy to use and worked well. The showers were warm and had great water pressure. The beds were comfortable. The check-in and check out was super easy and instructions were clear. It was easy to communicate with the host.」

「We weren't sure what to expect and gosh were we blown away! The property is so quiet and so well tended. The pool was still open, warm and the cleanest I've ever been in. Cabin was equally clean and very cozy. All items we needed to cook were already there and the beds comfortable. We look forward to coming back.」

「Start with the good stuff:The stay was fabulous! The cabin was great. Checkin was super easy. Staff was friendly and helpful when we called for games. Wifi wasn't great but we could use our phones. However the not great wifi was shared prior to our visit and wasnt a necessity anyway. The cabin was clean. Pool was the winner! It was super close to the Chalet and perfect water temperature! The view from the chalet porch was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the groundhogs and lovingly named them...
