「This is a no-frills kind of place. The stairway to the apartment is narrow and curved. There is a strong smoke smell in the building corridor which seeps into the living room of the apartment a little bit, but fortunately doesn't reach the bedrooms. The walls are thin, and I could hear bits of conversation and walking around from the upstairs unit. Some things seem not to have been designed with actual comfort in mind - for example, there are flashy LED lights in the ceiling, but no bedside lamp...

「Let’s just say I don’t have the time to list all that was wrong with this place; from the location to the dead squished bug on the bedroom wall, rusty and burned pots to cook in , I had to purchase a fan because the only air conditioner in the bedroom was useless and didn’t cool the room ( temps were in the 90’s) the refrigerator did not close all the way (rubber was off at the bottom) had to put things in the freezer to keep cold. 「Mostly as described. Does have some old building issues - narrow hallways, small main bathroom, slanted floors, damp/humid. Queen bed is in room against the road, which doesn’t have the en suite bathroom, and can be a little noisy at night. Overall, great location, pet friendly in a dog friendly neighborhood, attentive host with easy check-in/out, even left some snacks, coffee, etc.」
