“Fran was a great host! We arrived to town a bit later than expected and so we contacted him a bit late but Fran was on it and answered my questions, property was CLEAN, rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms had clean towels, rugs, bedding, etc. We were in town for a weeding in Chimney Oaks so the location was great (area was really quiet and peaceful so I lost no sleep); we really enjoyed the pool table and the TVs with streaming services. Lovely cottage and great host, would definitely recommend for……

“We had an amazing time enjoying the space. From the huge kitchen making our meals, to playing disc golf, to enjoying the massage room and wellness/spa area we couldn’t have dreamt up a better weekend. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the place. It’s peaceful, serene, and extremely relaxing. Only a half hour away from the tubing down the hooch we did and only about a half an hour away from enjoying Anna ruby falls followed up by walking around downtown Helen! We would love to come back some……

“Clean place, nicely decorated. We had everything we needed.”

“We were very disappointed with the cabin. From the pictures online, we were not expecting this single room cabin to be so open. The glass/open shower, the tub and the bed were just feet from each other and if you were in the kitchen or on the sofa you also had a great view of all. Not a place for families. The only privacy was the toilet. The cabin at first glance seemed clean until our hands stuck to the kitchen counter and the sofa had all kinds of crumbs, etc that needed to be vacuumed……

“Cabin was more than we could have dreamed of! Easy to get to, clean, private, spacious and had all we could possibly need for our trip! We really didn’t even need to leave the cabin! Wife and I will def be staying here again in the future!”

“If you are physically challenged or a senior citizen, this is not for you. You park off the driveway. Then walk across the lawn with a grade, then walk about a 30 yard path on uneven 1’ pavers, careful not to stumble;there is a 6’ drop into the neighbors yard. You are offered to park on the street. During my four days I never noticed any other car parked on the street; worried someone would drive up the rise of the street and then be greeted with my car.”

“Our stay on the farm was such a pleasant surprise! The grounds are beautiful and so well kept. Being late June it was really hot so the pool was just perfect- swam more than we have in years. Other than to attend a nearby wedding we never left. The hosts were so accommodating, friendly and give as much privacy as you want. The garage apartment was a great fit for us and our dogs, we were very comfortable there. We've stayed at lots of vacation rentals over the years and this property stands out……

“We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. It was just a quick trip with my mother and daughter. We look forward to going back and staying longer in the future. The property is beautiful. The seclusion is wonderful. We did some fishing and relaxed out on the deck. I highly recommend this cabin and the host was wonderful to work with.”

“Another great stay! The unit was clean, comfortable, quiet, and very convenient to get in and out of. This was our second stay in this particular unit, and we’ve also stayed three times in another unit just two doors down. We’ve always had a great experience and will definitely be back!”

“Everything was perfect! The host took care of everything and made the check in process simple. And they provided us with all the essentials. Finding a nice property within walking distance of Sanford Stadium that is reasonably priced is hard to find. I’d definitely stay here again!”

“Perfect spot to go back and forth to campus. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We travel to Dahlonega several times a year and have rented dozens of vacation properties. This property is our new favorite! The cabin is quiet and secluded, and nicely furnished. The real standout was the deck overlooking the Chestatee River. It's huge! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings watching the birds, fireflies (or lightning bugs as we called them growing up), and other wildlife. We even saw an otter. It was warm during our visit, but a morning rainstorm gave us a hint of……

“The experience was amazing plane and simple. The house was clean with a good quite feel. The tub is to die for . Fits 4 but two people can lay out . The hot tub felt amazing . Pool table gave us a great chance to challenge each other . Host checked us in easy and we're available when we needed anything 100/10 best graduation present ever”

“This was a return trip to this property. Clean, affordable and in a great location. The host is very responsive and helpful.”

“A brilliant place to stay, Great location & great service. Go dawgs”

“Very clean. Wish it would have included a grill of some sort. Everything else was great.”

“A prefect little home away from home. We rented Bear Paw Cabin #7 because it was more secluded than the rest of the cabins. We got that "in the middle of woods" aesthetic while being only a short drive away to the town of Helen. It was like being "off-grid" but with the amenities of being at home (water/electricity, we can't live without it lol). Myself, my husband, and our two teenagers had plenty of room. We really enjoyed our stay, check in/out was super easy. Penny, our host, was……
