「Enjoyed the authenticity of an older cottage and perfect location in Bath county. 」

「We enjoyed the location of the property and had so much fun with our dog in the warm Springs at the back of the home. Perfect location to walk to town and the Warm Springs Pools just down the road. Many wonderful dining options close by. We loved using the Wood Stove at night! 」

「This adorable cabin was very well equipped for a home away from home. It was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. Additionally it was in a perfect spot to explore the area. Trails were accessible from the property but we were also not far from many adventureous spots. We went seeking a quiet getaway from Fourth of July fireworks and were not disappointed. Peaceful, beauotful, and probably the most relaxing weekend we have had in a while.」

「This was an amazing little gem!!! The layout was nice - though it's not technically 3 bedrooms - there are 2 bedrooms with a door, and the couch arranges into a full sized bed. It is wonderfully secluded with forest views all around! Deer watching was a favorite activity, as was the amazing hot tub! Nicest and most roomy hot tub of all of our VRBO stays!!! 「My husband and I rented this beautiful serene house as a quite get away for our 53rd anniversary. It was all anyone could ask for and more. We were even surprised to find a dozen red roses and a card from the owner wishing us a happy anniversary. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding trees and wildlife. There was even a resident deer that bedded down under the front porch everyday. 「River’s Bend cottage is a delightful place to stay whether to rock on the porch, grill dinner outside, or hike or raft along the Upper James River. Our host was easily available to reach and was responsive to our questions and requests.」

「Enjoyed our stay! Fantastic location, easy to get to Natural Bridge and Dinosaur Kingdom. House was clean and check in was simple. Host was very responsive to questions and checked in to ensure we we had a great stay.」

「This house is everything it says it is. Out of the way but a great place to get together with friends and family to make new memories. It rained one of the days we’re there but that was fine because there was so much room and things provided in the house that we didn’t even notice! Management was excellent」
