“This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down……

“This was a great place for our visit to Harpers Ferry. It was very spacious, secluded, and had all the amenities you would need. Highly recommend!”

“The structure was good but it's a lot darker inside than expected, even with all the lights turned on. There is a lot of junk in the woodshed and in the yard that lent the entire property the feeling of being rundown. Also, there's a lot more cleaning that could be done. There were cobwebs all around the outside of the door and the front porch which could be cleaned up with one quick brush. Also, and I fully understand that it is an animal friendly property, but the smell of wet dog was so……

“I was a little put off by the smell of dogs, i actually got spray from the store. All thr coffee mug except one had broken handles and all of the chairs around fire put were broken. Hot tub was fine but i was under the impression it was more excluded than it was. I was actually a little disappointed unfortunately. ”

“As expected. Very nicely appointed for a cabin in the woods. Did not use the pool or other amenities but they looked nice.”

“We have stayed here before in 2024. The Linden Chalet is quiet, surrounded by beautiful tall oak trees and is a MUST for a chillaxing vacay. Everything we could need was there in place. I wanted for nothing! And, the host kept up with quick texts and daily checked with us to make sure we were experience a fantastic stay...and WE DID! I will certainly rent this home again. The beds are super comfortable and the sheets feel so comfy and clean. The added touches of little lamps and decor……

“Great location, quiet, surrounded by trees - exactly what I needed when moving and had a few days between closing on the sale and closing on the purchase. Being able to have my fur kids was all that mattered to me, but the house was even better than expected for my friend and I too. Thanks so much!”

“Just an overnight stay. On our way back home from northern New York. The place was nice. It is peaceful sitting on the deck. The check in process was a little tedious with various emails and downloads required. The Backstep is a little sketchy. Be careful walking in. Overall the place was nice”

“This place is perfect just to relax in the quiet peaceful private place in the woods.Close to Berkley Springs for a nice day out ,close to fishing and tubing at Bass Masters, close to parks for horse back rides, hiking cookouts. Short rides to shopping and restaurants, also near miniature golf,go carts and pool.Booked two times this year .Will return !!”

“We had a great stay overall! The property was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The location was convenient, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. The only minor downside was the bed. It felt a little small for two people and wasn't the most comfortable, but it certainly wasn't a dealbreaker. We'd still happily stay here again and would recommend it to others.”

“The house was so cozy and welcoming. The view was spectacular and sitting in the hot tub, looking out over the valley and watching the stars come out was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Tony was so quick to respond and very accommodating. I can’t recommend it enough!! There was wildlife and it was just peaceful and restorative. 10/10 would stay again!”

“Everything was great. We had a small problem because we lost a key to get into the property, but people at the resort helped us get in contact with the owners and we eventually go back in. Though we could not enjoy all that the property had to offer because of some temporary physical issues, it was a great place to stay. I highly recommend this property.”
