“These cabins are a bird watchers paradise. We saw over 40 species from the deck of our rustic little cabin. This location is out of the way. If you are driving yourself you will need 4 wheel drive as the driveway is steep and a bit rocky. Romey will work with you to get you a ride if you need one at a fair price. Just communicate ahead of time so he can arrange a driver!! We had the opportunity to ride horses to a beautiful private waterfall with “Eddy” This was an amazing experience,……

“We had a very good stay at the Casa. View of the mountains and sunset is the best you can get. The owner is superb and was very responsive and made everything possible to make our stay comfortable. He even left us some beers, coffee etc which was amazing and I appreciate the gesture.Improvements needed:It got very hot and the windows did not have grills or mesh and so opening them was a bit risky (bugs). Wish the ventilation was better. I would recommend this for those visiting Monteverde. Would……
