If you're close to Uvita, check the tide schedule and get down to the beach! Humpback whales raise their young in Marino Bellena as the waters are shallow and warm and they feel safe. Coincidentally, at low tide, the beach forms a "whale's tail" shape, and it's stunning to see.

There is a National Park entrance fee, that I believe was in the $3-6 range for the day.

「Easy access, super clean, excellent room design. Chefs were outstanding. Made boring food taste good and they should be proud of their work. Nice views and cool built in hammock. Cons: main pool is not that big and the other guests chairs are literally just beside it a foot away. 」

「If you want peace and serenity, this is the spot! Amazing views, super quiet, nothing but sounds of nature! Our host Eric is a very friendly person and went out of his way for us and took us to a local waterfall that’s only know to the locals and we had an excellent day. 「We had a great stay! 5 min walk to the beach, very private. 45 min walk to Uvita and about an hour to the whale tail. Short drive to town. The place is close to the main road so there is some noise. The noise did not seem to bother the amazing animals we saw while sitting on the porch- monkey, toucans, birds. I would stay here again. 」
