“This is our second year staying at this beautiful house and it is OUR FAVORITE. We are a family of 16 people. The house is accommodating, clean, well laid out, and cared for. The best part of this home is how the owner is so easy to contact and check in with. They make the entire stay so lovely. They also make sure to include beach chairs, boogie boards, and even a shibumi! Highly recommend. It's such a great house!!!”

“This house was the closest to the beach that we have had in our 13 years of family vacations at Emerald Isle! The host helped us along the way and was available by text if we had any questions about where things were or how to make something work better in the house. There were directions with each TV and with the thermostat to help those who were not familiar with the technology. The house was well appointed and the kitchen had dishes and knives that worked great, pots and pans that were easy……

“I don't remember staying in any VRBO that had a better-equipped kitchen. Everything, from sharp knives to a lobsta-cooking pot! And everything was well organized, clean and functional. Even spices or odds and ends left by previous tenants were helpful. The host must go throught he cupboards and intuitively keep only those leftovers that seem helpful to the next tenant because we actually did use leftover tea bags, a spot of sugar, the pepper grinder. Thank you previous tenants and host. Rave……

“Great property! Everyone enjoyed the house, the pool and the beach. Everything was clean and well stocked. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is spacious with great views. Two kitchens made it so easy for us to prepare meals for the whole gang. Owners were very responsive every step of the way. ”

“It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. ”

“Comfortable beach house. My family loved the amount of space inside, the location to the beach was also a major bonus. My only downside was that all the beds, except 1, had plastic mattress covers, which made sleeping difficult. But for the price, the house is perfect. ”

“We had a great time during our stay! There was a total of 14 of us and had plenty of room and space. Very close to the beach and the pool was awesome to have! The owner was also very accommodating and available whenever we had any issues or question! Would stay again! ”
