“Its a great place for a relaxing vacation. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Weather was beautiful so we spent most days outside and evenings by the fire. We have relatives in the area that came to visit. We all caught several fish. Drake was an excellent host. We will be back next year!”

“The house at first seemed too far out of the way for me, but once we got there we loved the location by the river and with a dock to fish and swim from. We loved that. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfasts. It became a great base to visit Montgomery, Selma and Birmingham; along with visiting family in the area. ”

“We loved our trip. It was a very nice little cabin. Our only complaint is that we only got one piece of firewood. The welcome guide said we would get three bundles. I know we could’ve have called and they would’ve had them there. But it wasn’t worth the hassle for one night. ”

“We stayed here for our daughter's wedding weekend. The house wonderful, and right on the water. The house is split into top and bottom, but this worked wonderful for us. Those who wanted to enjoy the games and pool table could stay up late! The downstairs is beautifully updated and the master is so spacious and nice! ”

“Being a person who loves simplicity and desires a space to slow down in a busy schedule, this precious cabin was the perfect place for me and my husband to stay. The view of the sunrise in the morning from the cozy front porch with my coffee in hand was refreshment to my soul. The cabin was perfectly clean and sweet and offered just the right amount of simplicity, while still meeting all our needs. We also shared the kindest interactions with the hosts. Would love to return anytime! ”

“We had a group of 15 celebrating our friend’s 60th birthday. Our group travels together at least twice a year and the Perch has been the BEST place we have ever stayed!!! It’s not only beautiful but clean and very well stocked. We will definitely stay here again. ”

“Close enough for us to Hoover Met ”

“This was our 2nd stay at this property and it was awesome once again! The house is always spotless and the lake view is beautiful. The owners are friendly and very quick to respond to our questions. It is so peaceful sitting on the screened in porch watching the water. We love this place and plan on returning.”
