"They are in the process of remodeling. The room was clean and bed comfortable but we made the reservation while on the road and when we got there the parking lot looked like it was closed becuz of weeds in cracks, an old rusted out van sitting there and the sign had not been switched over making us doubt our maps was working correctly. We actually panicked becuz it was a no refund hotel! But they were open and gave us a nice room and the breakfast was actually bigger than I had expected and good too! Staff was also very accommodating and welcoming in the morning as well. Received an excellent price on the room as well!"

"The hotel was fine. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The biscuits were hard and cold and the gravy in the crockpot had a hard film over it. It really didn't look very inviting. But the accommodations were fine."

"This is a great property! It’s only 1hr from Omaha and is quite the hidden gem! The house is all updated and in great condition. The property itself is beautiful. Our kids LOVED the sand beach and Lilly pad for the lake. The canoes were great too. It was very peaceful.We did not catch any fish, nor even get a bite, but the kids still had fun trying!The few cons were: The water pressure was not great and only one water source could be on at a time or else the flow was only a slow trickle. It was manageable, but definitely something we had to work around with a larger group. •The flies were a huge menace. It would have been nice to have some fly traps or something to help try and keep them out of the house. •We were there for a family Labor Day trip, but it happened to be over opening weekend for water fowl hunting. The early AM shotguns were a little alarming.Overall it was excellent though! The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. Beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space for 3 families to sleep and hand out. We enjoyed the fire pit and large deck! We had the best time and would definitely recommend this property!"

"Never a disappointment! When in Columbus this is our go to. Right in the middle of dining and shopping options. Clean, comfortable and amazing staff. Breakfast was fantastic as well. Highly recommended!"
Home Away From Home: From Abandoned to Luxurious!

"Very lovely set up, had 4 families there in the afternoon for some great-grandma time, with 4 adult children actually sleeping there. My children said they called about towels and were told there were 4 (we reserved for 6 adults), I believe there may have been a couple of towels in some drawers too? My daughter freaked out a little when on the last day, prior to 9:00 AM, staff walked right into the residence without knocking. (She was there without a car waiting for a ride to the airport.) I would definitely book again."
