“Green Cottage was everything we hoped for and more. So many nice touches throughout. Beautiful spot and so peaceful.”

“The property is meticulous. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Well appointed kitchen with very nice amenities. The shower is amazing with excellent water pressure and big fluffy towels. Water front is lovely. It is much nicer than the listed pictures on VRBO. We commuted back and forth to Lawrence each day and it is a beautiful drive, within about 1/2 hour. Resulted in a quiet retreat instead of plain motel. Next time I would pack golf clubs as there is a nice course within a few blocks. I……

“Excellent property. Owners very friendly and helpful. Extremely clean basement apartment with comfortable bed and living room sofa. We really appreciated the full kitchen and nice big refrigerator as well.”

“The property is lovely and spacious. Six of us stayed four nights very comfortably. We had a little snag at check in bc the keypad didn’t recognize my log in number and there was a bit of a panic when I couldn’t reach the guest contact. Once we got that straightened out, everything was fine.”

“The inside of the property is nice and all in working order. I received the checkin code late - after checkin time.”

It has a fun, all-pink theme that gives the place lots of personality and makes it feel unique and cheerful. The owner was also super easy to work with and made everything simple from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again.……

“Rock Chalk Villa is close to the university, restaurants, and a short drive from downtown Lawrence. The apartment was extremely clean and cozy, with new kitchen appliances, a washer/dryer combo, and large screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom. The host, Alex, was very communicative and thoughtfully responded to questions via email almost immediately. Check-in and check-out were very smooth - a nice touch is that property rules, how to access wi-fi, and check-out info was available……
