Fukui Prefecture Holiday Rentals

This is a truly unique hotel, transformed from an old house and surrounded by various shops that add to the street’s historic charm. We stayed on the ground floor and had a wonderful experience—a spacious bedroom facing a small, traditional courtyard, with convenient hotel facilities nearby. One staff member spoke excellent English, and even the Japanese-speaking staff were very helpful, assisting us by calling our next hotel in Kaga Onsen to arrange a pick-up bus. The staff were always polite...

all staffs were friendly with smiles, helpful on our requests to go for sightseeing. room is clean n spacious.

The hotel appears quite new and clean and provides a delightful experience. You have the option to select your own yukata to wear within the hotel and bring along the towel basket to the onsen. Throughout the night, they offer a variety of complimentary drinks and snacks such as mochi, noodles, popsicles, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. And free Yakult in the morning. You won’t be bored after Shirakawago goes dark at night.

The experience of staying this historical hotel is amazing, the staffed are polite and helpful from check in to check out. The public onsen is spacious and comfortable. The fusion food are creative but under average. My room type with an onsen inside also, the garden view is good
