“Jean room with cute farmhouse theme.”

“My wife and I spent a relaxing weekend at this property. The walking trail was a 10/10 for our pups. Everything about this place was amazing and we could not recommend it enough. Kevin went out of his way to make our check in as easy as possible.”

“An outstanding place and excellent host. The prairie setting is absolutely sublime, and the house was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed, including fresh cookies! We wish we would have stayed longer. Kevin was very responsive to our messages and even gave us a tour of his incredible prairie and grounds. You won’t find another place like this: it’s a complete original. Looking for an excuse to come back again for a longer stay.”

“Very comfortable for our family. Well stocked with all the necessities and then some. Thank you!”

“Wonderful hosts. You can see the love in all the little details. The property was beautiful. Lovely nature trails and a lake with paddle boat to use. We enjoyed the game room too. We hope to return in the future.”

“Great place nice property we will be back! Thanks”

“Great place. Great location.”

“Oh my word this place is incredible. Bed was comfortable great location and the original aspects of the old building brought up to date with modern convenience. I think Jennifer and I will be getting more acquainted because I have a hard time finding a decent place to stay when I come to my hometown to visit. Carlinville is good little town close to my hometown and made attending my best friends wedding in Gillespie a breeze. We will be back.”

“Enjoyable stay, perfect for entertaining even in inclement weather. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, everything we could have needed was on site.”

“It was a wonderful conversion, how ever they have an extra large chair on the property and people just kept walking up, interrupting conversion on the deck attached. There is also ZERO SHADE on the deck. Hard to enjoy with heat and people constantly park right next to the place you're paying high$$$$ and zero privacy. The bed was so bad I slept in my vehicle!! Definitely upgrades and attention to detail lacking. Thumbs down 150%!!!! Will not revisit!”

“Very clean, spacious, lots of balcony space, quiet! Would stay again”

“First, the goat was awesome. They reached out to us giving us instructions for entering the property and made sure we knew he was always available to answer questions. They made communicating very easy. The property is clean, well appointed, and conveniently located. Plenty of hot water, beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels. We will definitely stay there again.”

“The house is beautiful. A very comfortable stay. It was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The host is very gracious. She was quick to respond to any request and reached out to us when we left something behind. We were able to retrieve it before leaving town. It was a lovely place to stay. Highly recommended.”

“Return visit for us. Well located with ample space for a family and nice yard. Clean well appointed. Highly recommend. We will stay again!”

“Owner was so easy to work with and the location was perfect. Great house for our girls trip!”

“The listing photos are older and don’t do justice to the actual room. The updates they’ve made are beautiful and not only meet practical needs, but also create a calm, serene atmosphere. The bed was honestly the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on!Outside, the full-size gas grill and grilling utensils were a great feature that we fully took advantage of during our stay. Because of the heat, we didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub. Communication with our host, Jacqi, was prompt, friendly,……
