“My first time in a VRBO and it was great. The decor was perfect. We were having a Christmas family gathering and was wondering how to get a tree and decorations in. The house was already set up for Christmas. Beds were comfortable.”

“The Chestnut House was a very comfortable option for us. The thing that really stuck out to us was the thoughtfulness of the host. A bottle of wine was left for us, an ample supply of coffee available, lots of toilet paper and kitchen supplies. The house had everything we needed including a desk for my wife to work at. It is an older house and so some of the spaces are small like the bathroom and kitchen, but it was completely functional and nicely done given the space limitations.”

“I have a couple of suggestions. The musty smell in the house might be helped by cleanng out the fireplace. You might add washcloths to the bathrooms - not everyone uses them, but some of us do regularly. The prompt response to the need for 8 lightbulbs in the house was appreciated - might want to check bulbs before the next customers arrive. Visitors should be aware that the two bathrooms in the house are small - if 8-10 people are living in that house, that should be a consideration. ”

“Host was so helpful, communicative and understanding. Great place!! Comfy beds. Very family-friendly. Very organized - we appreciated the labels to find things in the kitchen. We also loved the games in the living room - such a nice way to end the day. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a great stay!”

“Charming Bungalow with Spacious Yard was a lovely home to spend the week. The neighborhood is quiet with a nice park (has a summer pool too) in walking distance. Shopping and dining is also close. The weather during my stay showed this place stays warm during the cold spells and would be great to enjoy the backyard with the grill. I felt welcomed when I entered using a keypad which is a nice touch. Each room had a nightlight giving me confidence to walk around in the night, the host really……
