「I was excited (and slightly nervous) to stay in a non-traditional (chain) hotel and it was be BEST decision I made in a while! The staff was beyond helpful! Our flights were extremely delayed and we were exhausted from our travel, they helped us with our luggage and walked us to our rooms so we didn't have to look or follow signs! They gave us our keys and waited while we tried them to make sure there was no problem there either! The beds were so comfortable I felt like I was melting away. ...

「Wonderful place for rest and beauty. Near a wild life refuge and located between water and prairie. Mike was incredibly helpful and friendly and even hauled the kayaks for our personal use. We will be back. Bunkhouse is a studio. But adequate for two people. It is set up very comfortably and quaintly. And the views are wonderful. Easy drive into town where there are restaurants and grocery stores.」

「The Hideaway is my go-to place to stay when traveling through Kansas. Terri always provides bottled water, snacks and a very clean space. This is a cute, charming stop with a fenced back yard in a quiet neighborhood. I will be back again and I give Terri 5 stars for being a great host.」
