“The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. ”

“Despite the heatwave, we had a very comfortable stay. Cosy double bed and our daughter loved the bunk bed. Handy little kitchenette, and it's easy to have barbecues. Our daughter loved looking after the baby lambs. Kristina kindly let her feed milk to them several times during our stay.”

“What a fabulous place! Communication before arrival was great, providing everything we needed for a self check in. We were early so were foreced to sample a pint in the bar which was great - really good atmosphere in there. Once in th e accomodation, we didn't leave or speak to another human! We were blessed with beautiful weather and had brought enough supplies with us. The view is fantastic, and I spent hours on the deck just chilling out. The accomodation was perfect for two. “Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING……
