“Questo piccolo alberghetto si trova in una stradina tranquilla ed è dotato di parcheggio privato. La camera era un po' sul classico ma spaziosa e pulita e dotata di piccolo cucinotto; il bagno invece è in stile moderno con una doccia grande e comoda. E' una sistemazione sicuramente comoda in quanto si trova a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro del paesino principale dell'isola ed essendo l'isola molto piccola è molto comodo anche per raggiungere in macchina le attrazioni principali; una su tutte……

“It was an incredible experience to live alone in an abandoned village in Mani. You feel far away from everything and it is a nice feeling. The nearest beach is about 25 minutes driving. The house is always fresh downstairs in the main bedroom. For the persons who like to hike, unfortunately, a fire occured in august 2021 so it is not very pleasant to walk in the countryside around. “Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce village haut perché. La maison a beaucoup de cache et est séparée en 4 appartements. La literie est confortable et très propre. La coin cuisine pourrait être amélioré en particulier autour de l’évier ou l’eau ne peut pas s’écouler autre qu’au sol. Vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine sommaires et pas de torchons. La taverne du village est très bien, bonne cuisine fraîche et copieuse, vue imprenable et serveurs attentionnés. Je recommande cette location……

“Anaxo Resort isn’t super easy to get to but it is well worth the effort. It’s not hard to get to really, the road is a little narrow and windy but manageable It is a gorgeous place. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen and the beds and showers are super comfy. The staff is great - super friendly and helpful. The pool and the bar are fantastic. ”

The terraced garden with its Mediterranean plants and the refreshing pool make even the July heat bearable. “We had a fabulous week at The Goatshed in early April. It is a gorgeous, quirky and cosy space to stay. Fida and Chris were the most thoughtful of hosts, so friendly and full of suggestions for great places to visit and always ready to help with anything. The house is excellently well equipped - everything we thought of, even things we thought we were unlikely to find, was somewhere in the house. We were very comfortable and relaxed the whole time. “Me and my 5 friends had a great vacation. It’s a nice house with beautiful terrace. The house had everything we needed and has a beautiful local beach. To reach the house you need to drive an uphill, offroad street for 200m, so it’s good to have s skilled driver. There was a time with water shortage but the owner was helpful and the problem got solved. Also, we couldn’t avoid some insects in our apartment. “Das Haus (mit Parkplatz vor dem Eingang) liegt am Hang eines hohen Berges an einer steilen Straße. Man blickt aus der Wohnung auf die Buch vor Kalamata und die Stadt selbst. Zur Straße hin sieht es so aus, als hätte das Haus nur eine Etage, es hat aber zwei, wie sich herausstellt (Hanglage halt). Oben ist ein großer Raum (Küche/Wohnzimmer), das Bad und ein kleiner Balkon mit Grill. Unten ein großes Schlafzimmer und ein weiterer Raum - aus beiden kann man auf eine geräumige Terrasse treten. “No hot water, it was warm. Also I stupidly did not take the keys to the apartment as I left - around 8:30 PM- and there was no one to answer the phone when i called several times. Eventually and luckily the customer service rep picked up and gave me the code to the front door. ”
