“sylvia was so accommodating and provided us with very helpful tips for our stay. before arriving she helped recommend and book multiple excursions and tours for us. and anytime we had questions while we were there she answered on whatsapp or in person very quickly. she’s very kind and el jardin is a lovely quiet and safe little place ”

“Unique experience surrounded by a lush garden. The curtains makes a very nice soft light during the day. Obviously in an open space you can't have AC... The heat can be a bit too much sometimes. Just be aware of that.”

“The property is appointed nicely with all of its furnishings and decor. Very comfortable. No issues whatsoever except that my gps thought it was on the other side of the street....LOL...but once I figured that out it was a breeze - and certainly not the property owners fault.”

“This lodge was the perfect setup for our family of 4 visiting the Cahuita area for a couple days. Immersed in nature and 5 minutes drive from the village, ideal for those looking for peace and quiet (except for the howler monkeys calls!) as long as you have a rental car. We were welcomed by the very friendly owners who provided a delicious breakfast on demand (great deal given quantity and quality). “Everything advertised about Casa Corazon del Mar was 100% accurate—in fact it was better than advertised. John was a wonderful host…greeted us upon arrival, made sure we had dinner reservations in town for our first night in Puerto Viejo, and even had a bottle of champaign waiting for us knowing that the trip was an anniversary celebration for us. The house was beautiful, and the gardens were truly magical. You truly are close to nature in this house! We almost did not want to leave to visit……

“Comfortable room with private bath, and we enjoyed sitting in the porch area and visiting with Katty & family. Close enough to everything to walk but far enough back to be peaceful. We went on the night hike and canoe tours with P&K Tours, and it was convenient to start at thr same place instead of meetinf up in the village or at the dock. This was the highlight of our trip through Central America.”

“My husband and I stayed a week at Casa Verde. The cabin is very eclectic/rustic, but had everything we needed. Annie the owner was extremely easy to get in contact with and is very helpful with any questions we had.If you want a laid back get away close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, we can recommend 100%!
