“The location has stunning views in every direction. Facilities provided were modern, clean, and in perfect condition. The hosts Mandy and Jacob are some of the friendliest people to come across. Their dog, Ziggy is the cutest. I recommend taking some good meat with you and good hiking gear for some great walks around the location. The kitchen had enough equipment to cook some good meals with the electric stove a handy companion. Firewood is available onsite.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here! We'd been looking to tick off a tiny house stay for the longest time & we definitely weren't disappointed! Not looking at our maps properly, it was a lot further from most of the Blue Mountain attractions we originally planned on visiting but we honestly didn't mind in the end as we really just wanted to get away from the city and ended up spending the whole time on the property. Kitchen worked great and we loved the eco-friendly aspect of the stay. Highly……

“Furnitures are old with many stretches. Comfortable bed and nice sleep, but found a cockroach in bathroom.”

“Great property, facilities and supplies were very good. Our main issue was the bunk beds do not have much head height on the lower bunk, and we could not use the top bunks for the kids as the safety rails only just reached the top of the mattress and they would fall out if rolled in the night. Otherwise very happy with the cabin and hosts.”

The location is far enough away from the main areas that you are able to enjoy the sounds of the birds, the wind and stillness of the surroundings and yet close enough to enjoy the shopping, eating and adventuring of the Mountains. “Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. ”

“We travelled to the Blue Mountains to take part in the UTA trail running series. The Origami Apartmebt was the perfect base for this and many other activities. The Apartment was beautifully presented. We really appreciated the excellent amenities, in particular the effective heating system, the large kitchen and sunlit back deck with wonderful views, the large bath (for soaking tired limbs after the run) and the proximity to the local bushwalks.
