A short walk to the beach provided us with lots of beach time and restaurants in Las Terrenas are plentiful. I especially recommend the Italian restaurant in the Spanish plaza and the French bakery! 「My husband and I stayed 7 days. Had a few minor issues but they were quickly taken care of. The house keepers were efficient and quick and the main't man was terrific, very helpful. We hired a chef for 5 of the days and he was the best decision ever!! He made the vacation even more memorable. 「The condo was only a few steps from a beautiful beach with a great ocean view from the balcony . It had all the amenities to make my 7 week a perfect vacation , a quiet area in the east end of Cabarete about a 30 minute walk to the main town , but several little grocery stores and small restaurants just a short walk away. There is a little bus that goes into town for only 50 pesos and comes by frequently or you could rent a car but beware of the crazy drivers here.(no road rules here ). Nice...
