“The house was breathtaking and a lot more spacious than I thought. The bonfire and grill were absolutely perfect for camp vibes without the bugs and sleeping outside part. The hot tub was also very fun and was a favorite among my friends. The beds were insanely comfortable and made me not want to get out of it. Overall it was a great trip and I highly recommend!”

“The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy.”

“My first VRBO rental and it turned out wonderfully. House was clean, perfect size, perfect location for my visit. The owner thought of many small touches that I never dreamed would be in the house, such as blow dryer, laundry products, even hairspray. It was nicely decorated for the season as well. Will rent again the next time I visit. ”

“Great house in an excellent neighborhood. Close enough to walk to ONU and many other places. Nice fenced in backyard. The house was clean and the beds were incredibly comfy. We will definitely be staying here again! ”

“We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location.”

“This was the perfect place for my husband and I and another couple to enjoy a much needed R&R weekend. The place was amazing from a welcome email from Eric and Marisa with perfect instructions and brief videos to restaurant suggestions. The house was so cute and comfortable. Everything was labeled and if you forgot something, they had it. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Great place for a family vacation or just some friends needing some catching up. “My family joined me for a wonderful trip to Brightstone. We fell in love. Our hosts were phenomenal and so helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they are very helpful. The house contained everything we needed. The photos of the listing are accurate but photos do not do justice to the setting. The beautiful lake is amazing. The hiking trails were fun for the grandkids and we saw wild turkeys and other critters. We are planning a return trip next summer and cannot wait……
