“I have stayed at many VRBO’s, BUT this one was a cut above….not only beautiful, but Kim provides breakfast groceries with snacks and if that’s not enough you forgot something? Nope it’s provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner….etc!!! A definite customer forward experience!!! ”

“I can’t say enough good things about this vacation home!!! This was our second time staying at this house and both experiences have been great! The house is always super clean and is stocked with everything you will need. We loved the dock, fishing was great from it and it is so convenient being so close to the boat launch. The owners were great to deal with and so helpful. I would definitely recommend this house!!!!!!”

“My son and I stayed at the Cabin Tucked Away while we attended the NHRA Virginia Nationals at the Virginia Motor Speedway. The cabin provided the perfect getaway from the track - a nice quiet location away from the spectacle. Thank you!”

“Captain Ron is absolutely the most wonderful host. It is an older boat with a retro 70s style! That is where the charm is for me! Any issues with being an older boat are way out-weighed by the charm of the boat, the beautiful natural area and a wonderful and interesting host! Sitting on the front of that boat, looking out across the water, the rest of the world melts away! I would say if you are a larger sized person, you would have difficulty getting up and down the stairs to the different……

“The house is a three bedroom fully finished home. Two bedrooms upstairs, and a spacious primary suite at the bottom level with a half bath (sink toilet no shower). Main bathroom is upstairs. Backyard is great for kids, it has a playground and corn hole. My only minor complaint is that the kitchen sink was difficult to set to cold, and I love to drink ice cold water. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends in the area, 9/10 would stay again ”

“Great spot one of the nicest spots I’ve stayed in. 20 minutes from Richmond great restaurants in the area. Super clean right near the river James. If we ever go back to that area again, I will definitely look to stay at this house.”

“My wife and I came to visit for her birthday. We had a great time and the house was great for this purpose. Everything was clean and the location was great for venturing to different parts of town easily and quickly.A heads up to visitors (and nothing the host can fix), locals speed down the street in front of the house. Be advised if you come with kids, and keep pets on a short leash. ”

“Everything was accurate with the listing. The only thing that was an issue was parking for three cars forced us into the neighbors area on the street since the drive way was inconvenient and off a main road. The yard gate was loose and off centered which was solved by us wrapping rope to prevent our dogs from leaving but may be an issue for less prepared individuals.”

“We came to Richmond for my Brother's wedding. There were 9 adults and we had a blast. The house was centrally located to everything that we needed. New house and was appointed nicely. We would stay here again!”
