“Perfect place for a short family stay. The furniture was comfortable and the AC worked great! We were worried that the highway noise would be too loud, but the house was well insulated and we could barely hear it. We were a little short on some essentials like TP and paper towels, but after some hunting in the garage we found some to make it to the end of our stay. It didn’t detract from our stay though. ”

“Front door knob needs fixed. The lock works fine but the door handle bolt doesn’t pull in all the way when opening from the outside. It makes it difficult to open the door. Just FYI for an easy fix for the next guest. ThanksClint”

“Loved the back deck! That was actually my main reason for choosing this place. :) The furniture out there was comfy, and the ceiling fan kept bugs away. Had the good fortune of being out there during a thunderstorm at one point. The proximity to Charleston is great — took about 15 minutes to get to Capitol Market. Inside, the bottom floor was roomy and comfy enough for an impromptu dance party with my partner, but basically the whole house is upstairs. No complaints there. The bed was a bit……

“Booked for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Communication during booking and instructions prior to arrival was great. We checked in late, but the information provided was very clear and made the process very smooth. The house was clean and just as we expected. “We needed a house that could put our family under one roof while we said goodbye to our Matriarch. This house provided 5 spacious bedrooms and 3 well equipped bathrooms, as well as a large living area and kitchen and a table that could seat all 10 of us. There was an issue with the AC but we had a repairman there soon after we reported the issue. Our host was quick to respond and provide answers and help when needed. “Well before my one night stay, the owner was in contact with me about the rules and things to do around Point Pleasant. “Our stay was amazing. The house was an amazing mixture of Mothman fandom and antiques. I loved both. All the beds were so comfortable. We felt so welcomed. Our hosts thought of evverything. We loved that they had a selection of mothman movies to watch and they even had a little corner in the home where we could purchase mothman merch! Such a great idea.
