"Located on a west-facing hill overlooking Scott's Head, this rental is nestled in a neighbood that lets you come into contact with friendly nearby residents. The owner and manager are attentive and communicate well. Snorkeling, fishing, hiking and boat tours are easily accessible, although cooking and other supplies should be purchased in Roseau before making the drive down. The clothes washer and air conditioning in the bedrooms work well."

"Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and...

"Located conveniently to downtown and surrounding sights which were not far by car
Would be great if host provided restaurant recommendations in the room
Only negative is there us no hottub at the pool (I thought the small pool was a hottub) and the hot water for shower is wonky otherwise great stay"

"This was my 2nd time staying at Pinard Mountain Resort and it was wonderful. The beautiful views and calm tranquil surroundings made my stay amazing. The staff are warm and welcoming. I was very happy to see Ms. Remy again. She is a beautiful & intellegent young woman and a great asset to the resort. I was very sad to leave but am hopeful to come back and stay again next year. "We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem."
