“A very nice and neat apartment. Efficient and friendly staff at reception. The only problem was that there's road construction at the entrance that was a little inconveniece. Overall is good!”

“The host Margot’s is a very friendly guy. He was also very helpful in assisting me to find transportation to the apartment. The apartment has the feeling of home. It was wonderful to wake up to the singing of birds in the morning even though I am in the heart of the city. The bed was extremely comfortable which made me sleep very well during my entire stay. Shopping, dining and historical monuments are all within walking distance. The entire city is accessible through an efficient public transit……

“VROB 13 Mar to 18 Mar Address: Carnikava Latvia I booked this VROB on the Monday the 11th of March Received the above confirmation. When I arrived on the 13th no one was around even though I received a check in confirmation. I chatted with the Owner & she never heard of VROB & never listed the residence that is in the picture. It’s actually under repairs & renovations so you could not stay in this place anyway. I had to scramble to find another place which I did a few hours later. I……

“Die Wohnung liegt im 4. Stock eines großen Wohnhauses, ohne Aufzug. Ich fand das kein Problem, sollte man aber wissen. Die Wohnung ist vollständig eingerichtet, aber nicht unbedingt in bestem Zustand. Beim Duschen hatte ich plötzlich den Wasserhahn in der Hand, nicht ideal. Duschkabine und Toilette sind in der Küche. Die Toilette hat eine Tür, ist aber extrem eng. Ich war alleine in der Wohnung und habe die Tür offen gelassen. Herd unx Waschmaschine habe ich nicht genutzt, sinx aber vorhanden. ”

“Nice place in a good location, very friendly service. Big enough for a family of four, accommodates in the extreme case even 8 people. The negative sides: (i) extremely noisy, because right downstairs is a popular pub. Hence not recommended for a family stay; (ii) the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Also night tables and reading lamps would be nice.”
